The burning isue of 'Marathi Manus' have exploited by two rival political parties in Maharashtra. But, the marathi films also have been doing their bit to raise these issues through better scripts. In the recent past, we saw movies like "Me Shivaji Raje..." followed by "Arjun" encouraging the 'Marathi Manus' in Maharashtra to raise against injustice.
Now, director duo Vishal - Vihar have carried forward this success formula through their suitably titled film 'Swarajya' with a tag line 'Marathi Paul padti Pudhe'. Though the theme of the film is the same as previous two films.
Swarajya goes furher to encharage the educated youth to move with unity as strength. The film does have a melodrama to expose SRA related manipulations, corruption by political leaders through hard hitting dialogues which is USP of this film.
All this was possible only because of a good star cast led by the angry young man Rajesh Shrungarpure, who with his graceful personality and rich voice, almost rocks in this film. supported by well presented screenplay. The film is for sure to inspire otherwise tolerate people from Maharashtra.
